You're
Just 5 Easy Steps From Increasing Your Sales!
Step
1: Firm Quotes, No Surprises
Once
we have discussed the details of your copywriting project, I will provide
you with a firm quote that includes price, deliverables, and deadlines.
The
quote always includes any required research, rewrites, redesigns, and
travel. In other words, once we've agreed to terms, you are assured to
get what you want, when you want it, and at the promised price.
No
surprises. Just results.
Step
2: Getting to Know You
Before
starting on the project, I make sure I understand each of the following:
- Your
Company
- Your
Product or Service
- Your
Unique Selling Point
- Your
Audience
- Your
Message
- Your
Objective
I
will review whatever materials and information you provide, then ask questions
to make sure that I understand exactly what you are looking for. I also
do my own research on your industry and competitors to make sure I am
up to speed on the current marketing approaches being used.
Step
3: Developing the Concept
Once
I understand the key elements of the project, I will develop and present
you with a concept or set of concepts.
Depending
on the project, as part of the concept, I may include a rough design or
work with your designer to create one. In most cases, having a visual
aid makes it much easier to not only understand the concept, but also
understand how practical it is in terms of getting the right images to
support the copy. (Great concepts without great images are a great waste
of time.)
By
reviewing concepts up front, we avoid time-consuming overhauls later on.
It's also a perfect opportunity for brainstorming with the person who
understands your business best - you!
Step
4: Creating the Copy
Concept
in hand, I go to work writing the copy. Before it ever sees the light
of day on your desk, it will go through several rewrites and proofs on
mine.
Depending
on the scope of the project and the deliverables agreed to, I will provide
one or more versions for you to review.
Step
5: Review and Revision
I
try to deliver exactly what you want on the first go, but it doesn't always
go that smoothly, which is why I never charge extra for revisions of the
promised deliverables.
My
business depends on your satisfaction. The job is not done until you have
exactly what you need.
